My wedding date is approaching and I am creating most of the stationery items myself. One project required grommets and I couldn't find an affordable tool anywhere locally. So I turned to Amazon for help. Excited to begin my project I set up the table and was ready to roll. I got about 20 punches into the project and the hole punch guide literally snapped off in my hand. I had 80 more pieces to finish! So I decided to install the grommets in the 20 pieces I had punched and by the 15th the grommet portion of the tool stopped working. And that was the end of that! Disappointed and frustrated can only begin to describe my feelings about this purchase and product. At the very least, this product should change their description from "Heavy-Duty" to "Delicate".

It was unclear from the description and photo that the grommets included with this set are one piece rather than two. It worked for the job I needed, but I will eventually have to replace the original grommet with a two-piece.

I bought this pliers to set 75 eyelets through PAPER. When the pliers first arrived, they looked like they had been repacked because they were so scratched and dented, but the packaging seemed original and again I only needed them to set 75 eyelets in paper and sine they were not that pricy, whatever if they were looking a little rough. Well 31 eyelets later, the two parts that are supposed to join to set the eyelets are not aligned anymore rendering the plier useless. Did I mentioned that i did not use the pliers with leather, fabric or anything that one might think a little rough, but PAPER? those pliers are made of cheap material. so if you need them for a one time use maybe, but for more than a few eyelets, forget about it! the puncher on the side is handy, and really like it but again there is a little tongue to set the paper, and that thing too bent on the first use... but the puncher works fine with paper with out it as long as your aim is good.
